In class we looked at WikiSpaces for a couple reasons. One is that it is a great way to put out information for you parents and students. They are easy to make and easy to distribute. The next area of the use of WikiSpaces is the fact that it allows students to collaborate and contribute to class. Giving students the ability to create on their own or to have ownership in a project helps to open more doors and ideas in the classroom.
For your final project you will use WikiSpaces more as a vehicle to house the content and to demonstrate your knowledge of other technologies.
Use Wikispaces as a site to show off what you know. I am going to allow you to explore the parts of WikiSpaces you think are important. .
You will need to create new pages for the individual artifacts
Insert Pictures, Files, Content and Widgets where needed.
Glogster
Create an Example of a Glogster (http://edu.glogster.com/) you would assign you students. Get creative and have fun with it. You can either embed it into your WikiSpace or you can simply make a link to it.

There is much talk about Web 2.0 or the read/write web. I want you to find two sites that you think you could use in class and develop or modify a lesson plan on how you would use it. There are many places to look but here are a few to narrow your search.
I want you to explore this concept of Digital Natives and write to it. Think about where you fit in this area, where your students fit in this area and so on. Just because I believe a lot in technology does not mean there is alwasy a time or place for it. Tell me the activities that you think are important that don't use technology. This is truly your thoughts and feelings towards technology and its usage. Where will knowing a lot of technology be a downfall? What happens if you are in a school with limited technology? What technology do you want for your room? Think about this as you will be looked at as a technology leader with innovative ideas.
A person once told me that he likes to look at tradigital types of projects. Don't loose the traditional part just because you are going digital.
